About Kelly

I believe the most interesting conversations happen when people are candid and I am currently available for speaking engagements, workshops and facilitated conversations across the UK, both in-person and remotely.

Whether I'm speaking at an event, facilitating a workshop, recording a podcast or writing an article, I'm interested in creating spaces where people can explore ideas with curiosity rather than certainty.

My work sits at the intersection of storytelling, identity, community and culture:

  • Sometimes that means discussing disability, inclusion and belonging.

  • Sometimes it means helping people tell their own stories through creative workshops.

  • Sometimes it means asking awkward questions about the things we take for granted.

What connects all of it is a belief that stories shape the way we understand ourselves and each other and that stories that are well researched and nuanced have greater impact.

Experience:

  • Chaired a global disability Employee Resource Group.

  • Designed and facilitated creative workshops for organisations including Storyopolis and The Talking Shop.

  • Hosted and produced podcast interviews and live conversations.

  • Written for publications including The Simple Things and Wales Arts Review.

  • Worked in education, supporting people to learn, question and communicate with confidence.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bath Spa University: MA in Travel and Nature Writing

  • Graduate of Newman University: GTP in Secondary School English Teaching

  • Graduate of Birmingham University: BA in Media, Culture and Society

Kelly brings a rare combination of passion, clarity of purpose and inclusive leadership that truly elevates both the work and the people around it.
